  1. The MainMail System Help - Transfer Protocols

  4. You choose your file transfer protocol here.  When you choose
  5. [T]ransfer protocols, MainMail displays a menu of the protocols
  6. that the sysop has configured.  Simply select the one you wish to
  7. use, followed by <enter>.  The new protocol becomes your default.

  9. NOTE:  When you entered Markmail the first time, your protocol in
  10.        MainMail was set to the same protocol you had selected in Gap
  11.        as your default, providing that the sysop had the same protocol
  12.        letter configured in Gap.  If the sysop did NOT have the
  13.        same protocol letter configured in Gap, MainMail selected NONE
  14.        as your defaultat that time.

  16. If you leave NONE as your default, or if you choose NONE as your
  17. default, you will have to choose a protocol each and every time you
  18. try to upload or download through The MainMail System door.
